Instructors and Staff
Bridget Edinger is the Owner and Artistic Director of the Creative Dance Workshop of Bow, NH. She has been dancing since the age of 3. She studied dance at Bradford College where she was a member of the Bradford Dance Company performing in numerous events throughout the Boston Area. In order to combine her love for dance with her love for children, Bridget went on to get her degree in Early Childhood Education. Bridget had taught dance for over 26 years. She has taught locally at her own studio, as well as classes in Massachusetts before opening the Creative Dance Workshop of Bow, NH. Working with Community Arts is very important. She has choreographed many shows for the Concord City Auditorium fundraisers under the Direction of Irene Deschenes. She also choreographed shows to raise money for the American Red Cross, Concord Public Library and the Rotary Club of Concord. She encourages her dancers to give back to their community as she does, by participating in numerous community service events each year and directing a charity performance during the Holiday Season to raise money for the Friends of Forgotten Children and other local non-profit organizations in our community. In addition, Bridget is an activie member of the Womenade of Concord, past board member of the Junior Service League and is a member of The Dance Teachers Club of Boston. This is the 20th season for her Creative Dance Workshop Studio where she teaches; Combo Classes, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballet and Dance Company. When not in the studio, Bridget enjoys spending time with her family, boating on the lake and watching her son play hockey.
Dana Dexter – Teacher
Dana’s dancing career started at the age of 3. His earliest studies, in ballet, tap and jazz, were through his sister, Leeann Dukas, at a studio in Burlington, MA, as well as his mother Donna (Katin) Dexter. As he grew in his dance styles he furthered his education in the forms of tap and jazz. Dana attended The Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the American Society’s Dance Teacher Education Course from 1996 to 1998. During this time he studied the forms of Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Ballroom, as well as Music Theory and Production. While attending college in Vermont, Dana studied from and taught for Sue Booth at the A Step Above Dance Studio in Northfield, VT. This was where Dana started to choreograph his own pieces. He was also very active in Musical Theater groups where he choreographed musicals to include “Fiddler on The Roof”, “La Cage Aux Folles”, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and other shows. Dana became a member of The Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the American Society in 2005, is a past President of the Club and currently holds the position of Secretary. He is the advanced tap instructor here at Creative Dance Workshop of Bow. Dana also serves as a Full Time Police Officer in the City of Concord, NH.
Jennifer Pfefferle – Teacher
Jennifer has been dancing since the age of 3. She studied locally and was a company member with Granite State Ballet (NBTDC), Ballet New England, Melissa Hoffman Dance Center, Dance Prism and Nashua School of Dance Ballet Company. Jennifer received many scholarships to Summer Intensive Programs including David Howard Dance Center NYC, Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Broadway Dance NYC and Debbie Reynolds Dance California. She was honored to study with such artist as David Howard, Peter Schabel, Gelsey Kirkland, Madame Darvash, Gus Giordano, Mihailo ‘Misha’ Djuric, and many more. Jennifer received many titles and awards at competitions and dance conventions which included Dance Masters of America and ADA. Jennifer has taught at various schools around New England but has found her home here with us teaching Ballet, Pointe and Lyrical.
Stephanie Brewster – Teacher
Stephanie Brewster started her dancing career at the age of three and teaching classes independently in area studios seven years ago. Stephanie has an extensive background in recreational and competitive Tap, Jazz, and Ballet dancing, winning several scholarships and awards for her performance and choreography in these styles. Stephanie started her hip hop training as a senior in high school and continues to attend workshops and master classes in order to broaden her hip hop education and deepen her passion for this style of movement. When Stephanie is not dancing, she can be found practicing as a Registered Dietitian in Pediatric Specialties at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Manchester Office!
Jen Hamilton – Teacher
Jennifer has been teaching at BAC since 1999. She brings with her a solid background in a variety of dance disciplines. She has studied with a wide range of teachers in the Boston area as well as taking classes in New York and master classes with well known teachers such as David Howard and Brian Friedman. Jennifer has been on staff at many area dance schools, Kidstock Creative Theatre and also at Bentley college. She has also choreographed middle school productions of “Fiddler On the Roof” ,”Joseph And the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” as well as “Aladdin”.
Ryleigh OKeefe- Teacher Ryleigh has been dancing since the age of three. She has danced at Miss Gen’s Dance Studio in Concord, NH, New Hampshire School of Ballet in Hooksett, NH, Eastern Ballet Institute in Concord, NH, and Creative Steps in Franklin, NH and has studied tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. She spent many years competing regionally and nationally and has won numerous awards at both. She has trained under the guidance of many nationally renowned dancers/ choreographers like Aaron Tolson, Derick Grant, Bryan Steele, Nick Baga, Ej Ferencak, Dina Rizzo and many more. She is currently training under the guidance of world renowned tap dancer Aaron Tolson and has been apart of his pre-professional tap group “Speaking In Taps” for three years. She is looking forward to her first year teaching at Creative Dance Workshop.
Ailiegh Galante – Teacher has Has been dancing for almost 18 years training in various styles such as tap, hip hop, jazz, modern, ballet and contemporary. She had trained with Alysons School of Dance for 15 years dancing on their competitive team for 8 years competing with both groups and as a soloists at competitions. Ailiegh Danced on the Connecticut Sun Kids dance team for the WNBA Connecticut Sun Basketball team for 5 years, later on dancing for their professional dance team solar power as well. During her career so far she was given the chance to compete with the American Tap Company for two years representing the United States of America at the IDO World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany competing against 30 plus countries. Ailiegh was also given the opportunity to dance and compete at World of Dance Boston with the Hip Hop Crew she is on, Mobbin Pretty, for 3 years. Ailiegh has also been working as a paid professional dancer with the DFX Entertainment company performing at various different events each year. Ailiegh is Currently a dance major at Dean College in Massachusetts perusing a concentration in performance and choreography.
Lori Emerson – Office Manager
Lori Emerson has lived in the Concord area for the past 34 years. Her background in accounting is from NHTI and Hesser College. She’s been employed as an office manager part-time for 16 years at CDW and recently retired after 33 years from an accounting position at a local Municipal Government. Lori enjoys quilting, knitting, crafting, kayaking, camping and being by the ocean, but most importantly it’s her wonderful family that comes first in her life.
Jenny Jones – Office Staff
Jenny Jones has lived in the Pembroke area for the past 40 years. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary/Special Education from Rivier University and a Masters of Education from New England College. Jenny has been a full-time teacher in a local elementary school for 19 years. She has taught multiple grade levels over the years but has settled into a specialist position as an elementary STEAM teacher. In addition to teaching, Jenny works part-time at the Creative Dance Workshop.
