Bridget Edinger is the Owner and Artistic Director of the Creative Dance Workshop of Bow, NH. She has been dancing since the age of 3. She studied dance at Bradford College where she was a member of the Bradford Dance Company performing in numerous events throughout the Boston Area. In order to combine her love for dance with her love for children, Bridget went on to get her degree in Early Childhood Education. Bridget had taught dance for over 20 years. She has taught locally at her own studio, as well as classes in Massachusetts before opening the Creative Dance Workshop of Bow, NH. Working with Community Arts is very important. She has choreographed many shows for the Concord City Auditorium fundraisers under the Direction of Irene Deschenes. She also choreographed shows to raise money for the American Red Cross, Concord Public Library and the Rotary Club of Concord. She encourages her dancers to give back to their community as she does, by participating in numerous community service events each year and directing a charity performance during the Holiday Season to raise money for the Friends of Forgotten Children and other local non-profit organizations in our community. In addition, Bridget is an activie member of the Junior Service League of Concord and is a member of The Dance Teachers Club of Boston. This is the 18 th season for her Creative Dance Workshop Studio where she teaches; Combo Classes, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballet and Dance Company.
Dana Dexter – Teacher
Dana’s dancing career started at the age of 3. His earliest studies, in ballet, tap and jazz, were through his sister, Leeann Dukas, at a studio in Burlington, MA, as well as his mother Donna (Katin) Dexter. As he grew in his dance styles he furthered his education in the forms of tap and jazz. Dana attended The Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the American Society’s Dance Teacher Education Course from 1996 to 1998. During this time he studied the forms of Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Ballroom, as well as Music Theory and Production. While attending college in Vermont, Dana studied from and taught for Sue Booth at the A Step Above Dance Studio in Northfield, VT. This was where Dana started to choreograph his own pieces. He was also very active in Musical Theater groups where he choreographed musicals to include “Fiddler on The Roof”, “La Cage Aux Folles”, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and other shows. Dana became a member of The Dance Teachers Club of Boston and the American Society in 2005 and currently serves as the clubs President. He taught tap and jazz for his sister at Just Dancin’ in Woburn, MA and is the advanced tap instructor here at Creative Dance Workshop of Bow. Dana also serves as a Full Time Police Officer in the City of Concord, NH.
Jennifer Pfefferle – Teacher
Jennifer has been dancing since the age of 3. She studied locally and was a company member with Granite State Ballet (NBTDC), Ballet New England, Melissa Hoffman Dance Center, Dance Prism and Nashua School of Dance Ballet Company. Jennifer received many scholarships to Summer Intensive Programs including David Howard Dance Center NYC, Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Broadway Dance NYC and Debbie Reynolds Dance California. She was honored to study with such artist as David Howard, Peter Schabel, Gelsey Kirkland, Madame Darvash, Gus Giordano, Mihailo ‘Misha’ Djuric, and many more. Jennifer received many titles and awards at competitions and dance conventions which included Dance Masters of America and ADA. Jennifer has taught at various schools around New England but has found her home here with us teaching Ballet, Pointe and Lyrical.
Cassie Bertolino – Teacher
Cassie began dancing at a young age in Leominster MA before moving to NH and finding her home at Windham Academy of Dance where she became proficient in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, and fell in love with Hip Hop. After graduating she packed her bags and moved to LA to further her dance training. She has had the privilege to work with world-renowned choreographers and train at some of the top dance studios on the West Coast. In addition she is constantly expanding her knowledge by attending various workshops such as Pulse and Monsters of Hip hop to name a few. Cassie brings new, fresh, innovative choreography to CDW and looks forward to sharing some west coast flare with her students. This is Cassie’s first year teaching at Creative Dance Workshop. She has over 23 years experience of dancing and seven years of teaching. When not teaching dance, Cassie works full time as a merchandise manager at Forever 21.
Rhonda Duhamel-Group Exercise Instructor/Trainer
Rhonda has been instructing fitness classes and training adults/children full time for the past eight years. She started leading group exercise classes in 1989 at a local gym in her community. Working out and keeping physical fit has been a priority on her daily schedule. She believes it promotes good health, helps with focus and eliminates stress in our lives. The past eight years, has worked at the YMCA of Concord, Center for Health Promotion for the Concord Hospital, private classes at local businesses and private individual training. She instructs for all levels of fitness in all her classes. These classes consist of Body Sculpting, Resistance Band Training, Interval Classes, Cardio Challenge, Pilates’ and Senior Strength. Rhonda lives in Bow with your husband and two teenage boys. They enjoy their hockey, golf and active life. Stephanie Brewster – Teacher
Stephanie has been dancing in the Concord Area since the age of three. In addition to her extensive background in recreational and competitive dancing, Stephanie has completed many workshops and master classes throughout New England to continue her dance education and deepen her passion for movement. Stephanie graduated from the Dance Teachers’ Club of Boston’s Dance Education Training Course (DETC), where she studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Ballroom, Music Theory and Production. During her three summers at DETC, Stephanie won several scholarships for her excellence in performance and written exams in Tap and Ballet. This organization also recognized Stephanie’s academic and artistic aptitude with the Lillafrances Viles Scholarship to put toward her education and the University of New Hampshire. Stephanie is currently a student in the Nutrition and Dietetics Program at the university and plans to continue her education to become a Registered Dietitian. Stephanie began as a student at CDW ten years ago, and is thrilled to continue her commitment to this studio as a Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap instructor!
Jen Hamilton – Teacher
Jennifer has been teaching at BAC since 1999. She brings with her a solid background in a variety of dance disciplines. She has studied with a wide range of teachers in the Boston area as well as taking classes in New York and master classes with well known teachers such as David Howard and Brian Friedman. Jennifer has been on staff at many area dance schools, Kidstock Creative Theatre and also at Bentley college. She has also choreographed middle school productions of “Fiddler On the Roof” ,”Joseph And the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” as well as “Alladin”.
Amy Goudreau – Teacher
Amy Goudreau has a Bachelors degree in Theatre and Dance from Keene State College, and a Masters of Education from the University of New Hampshire. She has been teaching dance for the past 8 years in the styles of modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, and theatre. Amy had the opportunity to attend the NYC Dance Teacher Summit and study under master teachers such as Mandy Moore, Bob Rizzo, Sean Curran, Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Denise Wall, Ray Leeper, and Doug Caldwell. She performed for the Ragged Edge Contemporary Dance Theater from 2009-2011. Amy teaches 4th grade as well as teaching on faculty at Creative Dance Workshop of Bow. Her choreographic style incorporates her love of movement and fitness to convey an emotion or story to the audience. She is excited to be a part of this dance family in the fall.
Lori Emerson – Office Administrator
Lori Emerson has lived in the Concord area for the past 30 years. Her background in Accounting is from NHTI. She has been with CDW for ten years. Lori currently works full time for a local Municipal government, along with working part-time at the Creative Dance Workshop.
Jenny Jones – Office Administrator
Jenny Jones has lived in the Pembroke area for the past 40 years. She has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary/Special Education from Rivier University and a Masters of Education in Literacy from New England College. Jenny has been teaching in a local elementary school for 16 years. She has taught grades K-3 and Special Education. In addition to teaching, Jenny works part-time at the Creative Dance Workshop. Certifications: Emergency Management and Preparedness, CPR/First Aide, Safe Routes to School and Bicycle Safety.
